The nose on this is to die for. Typical of Sicilian Nero Mascalese. Intense bouquet of strawberries, lavender, and assorted flowers. On the palate, tannins are silky and polished with a noticeable, but subtle, backbone of ashen mineral. This is a gorgeous wine. 2016 vintage on April 19, 2019.
