Very pretty nose. Gorgeous, high toned cherry fruit, layered and so pretty. Earth, minerals and some gorgeous tweed jacket, wet grass and mushroom scents. Gorgeous. Really just slamming. Palate is ripe and juicy with lovely concentration and purity. Finish is a bit short initially and dominated by tannins and minerals. But there is lovely mid season cherry fruit that is bright and a lovely complex mid palate and even more complexity on the finish. This seems like it will need a hour.

Jan 21st, 2021Lighter color than Narbantons. Big exuberant nose, ripe with dark cherries, some spice, some mineral, some earth, terrific balance and has that intense Lavieres structure. A bit more closed than the previous wines. Very very pure. Juicy and complex. This needs to be layed down. Fresh and balanced. So pure and fresh. The fruit is the star now but in 4-5 years this will be a knockout.
