Another bottle from my Fres-yes! Sampler Pack. Dark deep color. Way darker than many fine Pinot’s I had. Look like CA Pinot. Aroma is a hint funky-town. Maybe some mineral oil. Plenty of cherry Coke. Flavor continues the Cherry Coke theme. Major cola nut flavors. Hint of smoke as well. This is a big boy of a Pinot Noir. Dense with a hint of baby back ribs in the mix. Plenty of tannins too. There is a nice acid streak as well. This is nice, but not exactly elegant. More of a hammy, jammy style.
