Terres Brulées Cornas Syrah
Deep ruby with a pronounced, fruity nose with vanilla, blackberry, violet, blackberry and chocolate. The palate amplifies the aromas with firm tannin, medium acidity and a long finish - wonderful wine.

Nov 26th, 2018Trying something different tonight. Nice northern Rhône style. Expressive nose. Somewhat grippy tannins. Medium body. Nice acidity. I decanted this for about 30 minutes and it improved with more time in the glass.

Jun 25th, 2022Blind. Guessed old rioja or rhone because color and texture were light. Way off with the reveal!

Sep 26th, 2021Heavenly. Great finesse, tickling your senses intensely and just a real satisfying, ‘wanting immediately more’ finish. Red and dark fruit in perfect harmony, spicy edge that was lifted to great heights with rosemary bread dipped in ‘pomodoro e origano’ olive oil. Not sure what that really was but it tasted phenomenally and send the wine to the moon 👍

Oct 10th, 2020Warm and expressive. Well structured fruit, not too ripe and definitely no Jammy flavors. A good display of florals and earthy flavors. A bit of a departure from traditional Syrah but definitely worth the trip.
