Really drinking nicely. I was surprised how open this was, though will be on the upswing for a while. Great depth of fruit and nuances of multiple flavors.

Dark fruits, leather, cedar, dark cocoa. Generous tannins and a lengthy finish. Enjoyed the complex yet subtle nature of this, and will enjoy more later on.

A very nice Aaron Pott Cabernet. Lots of blackberry accented by dried herbs.

This is a super complex and slightly less fruit forward then other 2012s I've tasted. I imagine this will get even better with time. The wine continuously evolved from the glass with every whiff and sip. The nose incredibly complex and powerful revealed notes of tobacco, black fruit, cedar, and hints of violets. The palate was full of similar nuance along with dark bitter sweet chocolate and dark dark cherries. The tannins are still formidable and when they subside I imagine even more will appear. Very well put together wine.
