Here it is another weekend. We have made it to another Friday and the weekend is upon us. I have opened the 2018 Colline Pescaresi Tiberio Pecorino from Abruzzo, Italy.
On the nose was very difficult to get the first readings until it came to room temperature. Once at room temperature I was able to get aromas of lime, yellow melon, almond butter, jasmine, sage and minerals.
On the palate the wine felt fresh with notes of lime, lemon, green apple, spice, floral notes, herbs, saline and a good minerality.
This wine is medium bodied with medium + to high acidity that leads to a long crisp, fresh, mineral, saline finish. The weekend looks to be a wonderful one that brings in a great fall season. Please stay healthy and safe and have a great fall weekend. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂
