Nice but not quite at the true top level, especially given the price. Decanted 4 hours which is necessary at this point. Nice pairing with a big T-bone steak cooked in the Tuscan style. Could use more acid on the finish. Probably needs a few years to come together. — 9 days ago
Beautifully balanced with still lively fruit. Sublime — 17 days ago
It is time for some Merlot on this #MerlotThursday.
Purple /reddish in color with a wide reddish rim.
Showing a beautiful nose that takes me to Bordeaux.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Showing black plums, cherries, light oak, tobacco, licorice, light vanilla, peppercorn, espresso, light earth, chocolates and herbs.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious Merlot from Bolgheri. Drinks like a Right Bank Bordeaux. Fruit forward, Interesting and rich.
Well balanced and elegant. Easy drinking with a nice mouthfeel.
Still young, but already delicious. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
Good by itself or with food.
100% Merlot grapes were aged in French oak barrels for 14 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Another solid vintage of this consistent Tuscan Red. Blend of primary Sangiovese with some Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blended in. Medium ruby red color. Aromas of red and black berry/currant fruit with hints of coffee and meat. The palate shows plum, cherry and strawberry fruit flavors with additional notes of tobacco, menthol, iron and spices. Very earthy and crisp finish that includes a touch of vanilla. Nice complexity and balance. Great Lead-off wine, Keith S! — 22 days ago
Pale straw color. Smells green and citrus. Chalk and lemon on the tongue, with a grapefruit aftertaste. Crisp and very slightly effervescent. — a month ago

This is another great wine at Cantina Vèra. Think it needs to open up a bit but wonderful light cherry taste. — 2 days ago
