The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is fabulous. Rich, plummy and forward, the Amici Napa Valley Cabernet makes a terrific introduction to the vintage. Even better, it is incredibly fairly priced. Succulent dark cherry, plum, mocha, spice and licorice are kicked up in this fleshy, open-knit Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink it over the next decade. Amici does a great job with this white label. Good nose of blackberry / vanilla, a little round on the mouthfeel but the fruit - plum / cherry / licorice give good dimension.

Good Napa can but maybe too young. Fruit forward and bright. Great pairing with the short ribs. Would like to try a 7 year old version.

Big bold wine. Gave this a 90 minute decant. BBQ smoke and mesquite up front on the nose. Oaky toasty notes, leather and vanilla. Great buy. 14.5%
