Inky, big tart cherry & soil on the nose, brooding quality - felt more Right Bank to me (heavy Merlot?)… loamy, Earthy bit peppery, smooth on the palate, finely grained tannins & decent finish. OK - not sure why they raved so mich @ Total Wine

Nice and sturdy on the nose - and a nice dive into the terroir & mature red fruit that is a mature French Bordeaux. Tart cherry offers the first greeting on the palette as it then transitions into a dark mature tobacco-esque finish. Lingering notes of that incredible soil. All the while, an incredible smooth blend as this ride on your tongue registers as a smooth, pleasant journey that culminates in the perfect finish!

Very dark fruit. Bitter but sour taste on the end. Not a fan of the black currant flavor
