Perfect #grenache #garnacha it reminded me of some of the Garnachas I make in Campo de Borja. Super silky rich tannins. More expressive on the palate than on the nose. #gigondas and can I just say that it’s aging excellently. This was a 2012 and it was fresh and juicy and not showing any age or tiredness

2012 version. I really enjoy Gigondas. This was a very good balanced version. Very floral rich earthy aromatics. Nice mouthfeel bright fruit. Medium bodied.

Damn. Just everything I love in a gigondas. The nose is subtle with a surprising amount of red fruit and flowers. It just explodes in the mouth with an amazing array of flavors: plum, raspberry (!), currant, dried orange peel, rosemary, cedar - just to name a few. The finish lasts for AGES. Perfectly balanced structure. Maybe a touch too much alcohol? Not bad for it's only flaw.

Nice garnet color to the edge. Nose of Grenache without Brett. Lovely smooth tannins as it aired. Moderately tannic initially but smoothed out with air. Really opened up after 1/2 hour of aeration.
