Should t have waited for this wine. A monster. Super friendly. New oak unbelievably vibrant in 09. Rich, luscious, honeysuckle, white peach, and gravel. So damn good.

Much better at room temp as the oak is overbearing when cold. But not a compelling Chard compared with same price in France.

What can I say! EaglesvsDallas in Dallas! Hence no tailgate. So at home drinking one of the best Chards in the world! Yup! 2009 Marcassin Vyd, a toasty creamy Chard with gobs of fruit. Wow! With a little bottle age it really shows how Really good it can be! Great balance with good acidity and backbone. Alcohol is 14.4 and doesn't show at all, Bravo here. CB 94+

09' is a massive wine. Zesty flavors of new oak, tangerine, peach , fig, wet stone. Round perfectly integrated acidity . Patients will pay off with this wine in the years to come.
