Tignanello Toscana Super Tuscan Blend

At Bottega Restaurant in Napa. Trying this 2020 Super Tuscan. Nose is aromatic with black cherry, tobacco, espresso, and pepper spice. Taste is robust with black cherry herbs, cedar and tannic. Needs more time.

Decant and pour. They broke out the Giant glass.....black cherry, leather, tobacco, pepper, dried herbs, cedar, and tannic. Should round out over time. YUM! Super Tuscan tonight to start our Napa weekend...who woulda thunk.

A really nice wine with Easter dinner. Aromas of chocolate, cherry, and leather. On the bud, cherry, plum, stewed fruits, earthy, and a mild spice note. Nice long finish.

Cherry, dark chocolate and raspberry. Lots of heft. Definitely more to come but early out of gate it’s still a worthy wine. Should revisit in five more years.

Good wine, QPR questionable. Red/black fruit, some unresolved oak, good acid, high tannin. Needs 5+ years. Great finish. Good with red meat.

Deep dark ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry. Blackberry, earth, and currants. On the palate, full bodied, cherry, chocolate, oak and vanilla. Medium to longer finish.
