Recent acquisition from my Italy trip. Excellent Brunello - typical licorice, cedar and black cherry notes I love in this style of wine with the body and acidity to bring it all together. Damn I wish I had more of these.

Can't rate this because I got two sips after it was poured. then someone threw it away 10 minutes after I'd been obviously analyzing it! But two good notes.. 1) very high phenolic potential. Was opening with complex red and purple flowers plus cassis and chocolate raisins. 2) palate is above average Brunello traits except for alcohol which blended well!
