First time drinking Cheval blanc and was very impressed. Silky smooth, balanced and oppulent. Lovely wine — 2 days ago
Birth year Latour for our 700th wine on Delectable! Very mature but still with lots of life. Leather, graphite and earthy notes and still so much power. A great pleasure to drink! — 2 days ago
Proper crowd pleaser and very moorish...kept reaching for the glass. Cherries and strong tannins. Would recommend — a day ago
Monster of a wine with brutal concentration...maybe a bit flabby but still enjoyable — 2 days ago
Wifes birth year wine was so impressive. Smoke and leather, very polished. Reminded me of a great Pinot. Great experience — 2 days ago
Strong nose of hazelnuts and cloves. Has almost a medicinal quality. This split the group with many finding the 15% alcohol too much.
Served with flammed salmon and asparagus risotto. — 8 days ago
Elegance, finesse and restraint. Always a pleasure to drink! — a day ago
Rounded off an amazing evening with this. Deep brown colour and gorgeous caramel taste — 2 days ago
I love Penfolds Grange...one of my all time favourite wines. The depth and concentration of flavour of this 33 year old wine is outstanding...i think these will just go forever. Massive wine and a reminder of how excellent Syrah is! — 2 days ago

Crazy weekend and another crazy wine. Didnt see this coming. I always imagined this wine tasting completely different...massive and concentrated. In truth it was insanely smooth and silky...balanced and rounded. Nothing massively showy or crazy...just perfect refinement. An amazing experience — a day ago
