Spices/black pepper, oak, and leather on the nose. Leans full bodied for a Pinot Noir. Black cherry, vanilla, and earthy forest floor. Stands up well with rich salmon and mushrooms. Drinking great 4 years in. — 2 months ago
Golden apple, apricot, nectarine, with a lemon zest finish. Fruit forward like the new world, but plenty of terroir and mineral. Lithe and elegant. Delightful. — 3 months ago
Inky ruby. A bit effervescent. White pepper, mushroom, strawberries, and raspberry. Savory more than fruity. Fairly light and very smooth. — 4 days ago
Delightful. This 2017 is drinking great in 2024. Expressive stone fruit (white peach, tangerine), lemon and orange zest, honeydew melon. Mellow acidity but it still has some citrus brightness. Well integrated. Paired beautifully with seared rare tuna. — 25 days ago
Deep and delightful. Blackberry, blueberry, and black currant. Big and brambly. Great with steak and dark chocolate. — 3 months ago
Light and straightforward. Strawberry, raspberry, hints of cola and floral notes. Silky texture. Not particularly complex, but easy drinking. — 19 days ago
Sour red and dark cherry, oak, spices. Medium bodied with medium tannins. Could use a little more integration. The acid is a bit loud on the finish. Paired well with eggplant and tomato pasta. — 2 months ago
Juicy fresh red fruit balanced by complex earthy notes. Hints of yeast and some farm/barnyard funk. — 3 months ago

This vintage is more acidic than others I’ve had. Pairs well with rare tuna and miso glazed carrots — cuts the umami with acid and a hint of fruit. White peach and lychee play with clean mineral notes. — 3 days ago
