Pale yellow, light aromas of Asian pear, geranium, medium acidity, light and short finish, refreshing. This wine was blended specifically for sushi and it succeeded! Great value. — 8 months ago
Classic and easy to drink. Aromas of blackberries and young black cherries. Balanced. Great value. — 10 months ago
Initially gripping tannins, after two hours of decanting, it drastically changed and softened to allow fruit to come through. Nose: cigar, dark dried cocoa powder, espresso, blackberry black currant, prunes, leather, complex flavors; this wine is excellent. — 4 months ago

black Fruit basket with tannins. My favorite varietal. Argentinian Malbec consistently deliver the best of what this grape offers. Blackberry, black plums, hints of cedar, wet stone, and vanilla. Tannins from being still a young wine. — 9 months ago
Wonderful. Ripe blackberries, plums; bark, lots of tannins, still quite a bit of acidity; mouth puckering, delicious. Wouldn’t call it smooth because it’s got more years to go to get even smoother. — a year ago
Yummy. Dark fruits are pronounced. Black cherries, ripe plums, chocolate, brown sugar, and a hint of oregano. Grenache definitely stood out, beautiful deep ruby color, incredible deal. an easy drinking wine. — 6 months ago
Everything is mild except the tannins. No fruit on the nose. Aromas of a savory soy sauce, foie gras, vegetables mirepoix, with a little bit of pepper, duck fat. — 7 months ago
Medium ruby color. Not much aroma at first, but give it about five minutes then it opens up and the aromas come through with the subtle strawberries, raspberries, and young plums, typical of Russian River. Medium to low acid making this very easy drinking. High alcohol does add a bit of excitement if you were eating spicy food. Overall I think this wine is lovely right now and probably has a few more years. This is not a fruit bomb and I don’t think the winemaker meant it that way. It is very elegant and it has a lingering fruit finish. — 10 months ago

Incredible. Deep ruby with a little light on the edge to show its age. Cassis, black currant and blackberry, hint of smoke, cigar, slate and earth. Gripping tannins at first. Aerate for five minutes to smooth it out. Medium body and finish. Big but easy to drink. This can go for another ten years. Oh man. What an amazing treat. Thanks David. — 4 months ago
