Delicious Haut-Medoc Bordeaux, with dark fruit notes and silky tannin, served at family dinner in Toronto — 2 months ago
We were drinking classic wines from classic vintages on this particular night and this fit the bill nicely. This wine (not the ‘05) was one of the first Bdx I ever tried early in my wine drinking career. This particular bottle was as textbook as they come — 4 months ago
Just received the 2021s and thought I’d open a bottle. Decanted 15 minutes. Big red fruit - cherry, plum. Lighter bodied for a cab. Fruit is overpowering and just on the edge of too ripe. Tannins are soft with a slightly grippy feel. Good value. Someone rated this 97 which seems a bit high to me. — 3 days ago
