One cannot ever drink enough elite St. Pourcain. A dream of a nose with gorgeous aromas of butter, minerals. baked apple, iodine and wet earth. Just stunning and evocative. Layered and so complex. Wow. What a palate. Salty, rich, but fresh and textured. Long and rich but so much energy. Coats the backend so nicely and such pure sappiness. Just a stunner. Sadly no made in 2021. Amazing length and purity. Masterful balance. A genius wine. Is this a 9.6? Maybe. Let’s see how it develops. — a year ago
