A pleasant surprise, I haven’t had one of these for years, but this was delicious. — 11 days ago
A garnet hue with a ring of ruby red catches your eye at first glance. Lots of red raspberries and black berries followed by dark chocolate, black pepper, oak and prolific earth. Great structure with lively acidity, balanced tannins leaving a zingy finish of black currants and a peppery bite. — 2 months ago
This wine has barely any color at all, just a very faint yellow-green tint. The nose is nice. There is a slight trace of petrol, which I always love to find in a Riesling. More dominant is a lanolin note which joins a light floral aroma. The palate straddles the fence between dry and sweet, offering up some tasty stone fruit and a savory side marked by gentle spices and a workable acidity. I would like a drier wine better, but I drank this quaff gladly and poured another. — a month ago
Love this Riesling from Long Shadows. You’d easily think Walla Walla Riesling would be a hot sugar bomb like your mom due to the climate but not so here. 12.5abv, nice acid, a wee bit of residual sugar. Dig it. — 17 days ago
Crisp apple notes, fresh floral aromas, and perfect straw color. Intense sweetness balanced out by acidity and dryness — a month ago

Really good Syrah. Wahluke slope always delivers. With some air this wine opened up beautifully. — a month ago

1/2 hour decant(decent fine/cloudy sediment). A remarkable dark purplish magenta. On the nose: blackberry liquor, floral, smokey, baking spice, herbaceous. Taste: plush, round wine with dark fruit, graphite, iron, black pepper, cedar and a dark cherry/vanilla bean medium plus finish. YUM! — 17 hours ago
