The 3rd matching wine in the degustation at Restaurant Dan Arnold. I’ve been a long time fan of Yarra Yering back to the 1980’s, pretty much exclusively with their reds. This Dry White is a blend of Semillon and Chardonnay. ( not as per the title) Lemon and lime notes on nose and palate with M plus acid I recall. Certainly drinking this in its infancy. — 4 months ago
Good. Worth another bottle. — 21 days ago
Took some time to open up but became delicious. Lots of fruit but not sweet. The splash of viognier softened the Syrah a bit. — 4 months ago
Delicious balance, curry night with Audrey’s — 2 months ago
In its prime. Opened a day after trying the 100pt 2021 at the winery. The 2005 is a different beast entirely as it was made by Bailey Carrodus and the 2021 by Sarah Crowe the current winemaker. So much brambly fruit with rich opulence underpinned by fine tannins. Wonderful mature wine. — 3 months ago
Nice and sweet, very easy drinking :). — 6 months ago

Pretty reduced, red fruits mostly, tannic and structured, also shows a distinct leafy green note (almost minty?), very fine length, needs cellaring. I’m probably underrating this, as in 5 years it may be lovely, the depth is there. — 23 days ago
