Château Saint-Pierre

St. Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 2009

Medium to full bodied. Didn’t have the earthiness but structure was good. Decanting at time of drinking but it opened up well. East drinking ! — 2 years ago

Roland Lavantureux

Fourchaume Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay 2019

Clean, crisp, zesty and pure. Palate if slightly tropical - a mix of just ripe pineapple and lemon zest. Slate, and smoke fully integrated into a perfect whole. Fantastic chablis. — 2 years ago

R. López de Heredia

Viña Tondonia Reserva Rioja Tempranillo Blend 2008

Slightly more intense colour , narrower garnet rim. More elegant complex and darker fruits . More intensely fruited but less roasted . Again quite mineral , medicinal even , but elegant and with more fruit extract than the Bosconia . This comes across as more tannic needing more time than the Bosconia . Deeper and fuller on the finish . Better in 5 years will last a further 5-10. Tasted 01/09/2022 — 2 years ago

Tenuta dell'Ornellaia

Le Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia Bolgheri Rosso Merlot Blend 2019

Drank some of this then left it for 24 hours. Made all the difference and ended up buying another bottle and doing the same 😂. Very smooth and already fairly well integrated with a lot of air. This wine rarely disappoints and i would definately recommend trying. Will improve with bottle age but already much to enjoy now. — 2 years ago

Evening Land Vineyards

Seven Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021

2021. Recommended by Paul to pair with our various entrées. This young Pinot had a great cherry cola aroma and we all loved it. Went great with my tea-smoked duck. — 2 years ago

Castello di Ama

Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend 2019

Recommended producer from the geeks. My first time having it, and at my sister’s because I gifted it to her! More fruit forward than I expected but tannins were firm and acidity was clean. — 2 years ago
