I find this enjoyable. I live in Nebraska and it hasn’t been available but I have had someone bring to me from Texas frequently. I like it. The branding and the bottling is great . Its just arrived here and I’m pleased to have it in my back bar…. Because of the story behind it

@Neal Ferry great neat but we are making a batch of citrus-based tequila cocktails for a small party and it’s perfect!

Kim Crawford

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Pale, almost clear gold. Strong aroma of papaya and citrus. Tastes of peach, lemon, and stone. Spicy finish. Very pleasant. Good the next day as well. — 3 months ago

Went through a 3-pack of these over the past year. Enjoyed each one. Re-buy.

100% Pinot from Verzenay. Mid-2022 disgorgement. 3yrs on the lees. 3g/l dosage.

The dark black wrap around the bottle certainly makes this stand out. Deep gold in the glass. Powerful red fruit (raspberries) but also some tropical fruit (guava), and a toasty flair aromatically. Big rich and round profile on the palate with a small yeasty/leesy vibe, spiced pear, caramel apple, truffle honeycomb and limestone.

Style wise, this is kind of a grower champagne version of Bollinger’s Special Cuvée (similar price point too). Great with garlic fries!

Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Nose - terra cotta pot, wet stone, rose petals. Flavors - Plum, cherry and apricot. Super soft tannins and velvet mouth feel with just a bit of acid to balance it out. With just a hint of a dry pleasing finish. Love this wine! My kind of Cab Sav! — 3 months ago

Scarecrow

Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Unlike older Scarecrows, this vintage was ready to drink at the onset with its wonderful aromatics of currants, tobacco, and floral bouquet. On the pallet was an excellent balance of spices and dark berries. This full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon can't be beat when it comes to complex Napa wines. — 3 months ago

Marchesi Antinori

Pèppoli Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend 2021

A delicious and smooth expression of Chianti Classico. Soft tannins, nice to drink on its own and also solid with a tomato pasta. — 3 months ago

Nerina Etna Bianco Carricante Blend 2022

Had this at home with my darling husband, cooked his prosciutto and chicken rolls on top of cannellini beans… Delicious! — 3 months ago

Bodega Chacra

Mainque Chardonnay 2022

Linear, precise but with some weight. Perfect pairing wine. Lemon and citrus (mandarin orange juiciness) forward with creaminess and weight on the back. Mersault like but has a distinct pithy, citrus peel and umami character on the mid palate. — 3 months ago
