Marchesi de' Frescobaldi

Castelgiocondo Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2017

Not a good vintage, but according to the experts it's ready. After it opened up, it was great.

Katie guessed a 2018 Chianti... not too far off.

Side by side taste of Dry Aged vs Wagyu Striploin. Happy long weekend.

Lady of the Sunshine

Chevey Presqu'ile Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc Chardonnay 2022

Interesting wine. I actually like a lot of the flavors but there is a mid palate oddness that is probably more from brain tasting Chardonnay and sauv blanc at the same time. Huge amount of minerals, sea salt, grass, with a finish of fresh nectarines, lemons, and lychee fruit. Interesting. — 8 months ago

Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, dark berry, cassis, forest floor, minerals and earth, cherry, cocoa powder, plum and vanilla. On the palate, dark berry , blueberry, cherry, Smokey vanilla, and secondary and tertiary notes of oak, espresso. Chocolate. Complex and excellent ful bodied wine with velvet mouthfeel. — 8 months ago

Elda Rosso Schiava 2016

Love how woodsy and herbal this is, like rooting around in the underbrush for tiny dark berries. Light ruby color but plenty of structure, aromatic and fresh — 8 months ago

Clos Rougeard

"Brézé" Saumur Chenin Blanc 2015

Wonderful complex and luxurious aromas of lemon, yellow apples and oak. A bit rounded in the edges, acidity not hitting hard initially, but rather catching up after each sip. Super finish. — 8 months ago
