Interesting wine. I actually like a lot of the flavors but there is a mid palate oddness that is probably more from brain tasting Chardonnay and sauv blanc at the same time. Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, dark berry, cassis, forest floor, minerals and earth, cherry, cocoa powder, plum and vanilla. On the palate, dark berry , blueberry, cherry, Smokey vanilla, and secondary and tertiary notes of oak, espresso. Chocolate.
