Wonderful expression of Grenache with integrated red fruit, soft tannins, and ever present white pepper spice. The alcohol level was a shocking 15% - perhaps the norm for a Napa wine these days! — 2 days ago
Deep garnet in color with a nice bouquet of mint and an old closet! Eucalyptus and herbaceous notes support dry blackberry brambles amid nicely evolved tannic structure. This wine remains at its peak of expression. — 11 days ago
Red cherries, smoke and earth in a glass. Surprising tannic structure that required an hour in the glass to settle down and diminish. Many more years of cellar life remain in this wine. — 16 hours ago
Deep purple in color and oak notes on the nose. Rich dark red fruit against soft/plentiful tannins, smoke and toasted vanilla on the palette. Still a young wine that will benefit from more time in the cellar (or a longer decant!). One of the very best Napa merlots that I have sampled! — 8 days ago
Tart apple and stones in a glass. Lovely start to a dinner! — 14 days ago
An expected example of a Del Dotto cab with 15.5% alc, lots of French oak, and black fruit - more blackberry than black cherry. Tannins were nicely integrated and enhancing for the wine. — 2 days ago
Surprisingly young in the bottle with a beautiful garnet color and characteristic Bordeaux sous bois on the nose. Hints of cedar and toasted oak to complement dark fruit and ever present tannic structure. A delight! — 9 days ago
Still very tannic bit with good acidity. Candied red fruit - not tertiary notes yet. — 14 days ago
Deep gold in color. Lower acidity than expected. Lots of white stone fruit and sweetness with some biscuit on the palette. Great complement to Brie. For the vintage and the producer a little underwhelming. — 15 days ago

Thoroughly integrated tannins in an aged wine that has started its decline. Dark fruit, vanilla oak and cedar on the palette. Classic Bordeaux on the nose. — 15 hours ago
