Carnivor
California Cabernet Sauvignon
An easy Cab to drink, not dry like cabs can be sometimes be. Fairly versatile for meat and pork dishes and excellent with dark chocolate. Rich, purple color-be careful of stains!

3 people found it helpfulJul 4th, 2015Deep purple in color, with a full sryupy body, and prodominent flavors of overripened blackberries and vanilla toasted oak. For a wine with the name "Carnivor" the lack of robust tannins made a poor pairing with Strip Steaks. While not un-drinkable it certainly is a disappointing wine. ($9) [2/19/17]

Too bland to pair with food. Inexpensive but can get much better at this price. Not offensive but no reason to buy either.

Jan 31st, 2016My 5th Halloween wine is a very dark, rich, full bodied wine and very dry. Has hints of blackberry, caramel, roasted coffee and toasted oak. It's very good!

Oct 31st, 2015OK. $14? Glad it wasn’t more. Drinkable? Sure. Exciting? No. This will be hard to finish by myself and perhaps with help if the wife joins in. I would not buy this again. Just not for me or most who enjoy quality wines.
