2009 Claret tasting last night with tasting group, blind. Group's favorite. Ink, peppermint note, black cherry aromas. Broad in the mouth, nice feel. Earth. No fruit in the flavors. Grippy tannins.

Wish I could try this in 20 years. I'll start saving now.

2009 veryaromatic toasty oak spice toffee coffee currant and cassis already very showy . Very rich and ripe on the tonge with ripe round tannins very balanced and complex finish 50+ killer 2010 dark berry fruit currants and cassis coffee and fresh earth very complex big and chewy with a bit of a musty earthy laity note but lots of everything else to match firm acidity and lots of spice finish50+ most excellent

A wine that is absolutely showing at its prime, with soft and integrated tannins coupled with charcoal and some forest floor. This wine should be good in the cellar for another 5-10 years if you can resist the temptation.
