Chateau Ste. Michelle
Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Nice poolside wine. Got the small “vacation” twist cap bottle at Harris Teeter. 😉

A blend of 89% Cab Sauv, 7% Syrah, 1% Mourvedre and small amounts of Cab Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec & Grenache. Dark red with ripe dark fruit aromas and spice on the nose. The palate shows Jammy blackberry and cherry flavors with soft tannins. Well balanced this wine is great to drink now. Nice value. Consistent quality.

Sep 3rd, 2021Very basic Cabernet Sauvignon. Not much depth-it’s what you’d expect from a cab, a bit heavier, but not much flavor interest. Smooth, but pretty dull.
