My first Petrus was a very special thing. So intense and seductive, really something out of the ordinary. It kept begging my nose going back to the glass and harmoniously gave back so much pleasure. Could feel its presence very clear after a few minutes. Incredible. 98-100. Unique and delicious. — a day ago
Salty elegance. Iper focused and lean, then punches your emotions out of the palate.
It keeps changing moving from orange and apricot to a beautiful mint and white pepper. Awesome! — a day ago
This is one of the sexiest thing you can ever taste in your glass.
So fresh and young. The alcohol and the concentration are super integrated, making it so drinkable and extremely pleasant. Would love@to try this in 20+ year from now. — a day ago
It took a while to figured out what sort of big boy this wine was. Pristine and so young. Still bright and perfectly composed. Incredible for a wine made for the first time. Such a real “fuoriclasse”. — a day ago
No matter the scores on such an old wine. It had More depth but also lacking some sort of perfection experienced in other wines of the same age tasted together. Overall a great experience. — 9 days ago
Immagine a piece of thread made of stony mineral of highest quality, hanging from the top of your heat till your tummy. This is surrounded by a beautiful creamy complexity typical of an old champagne of the highest quality. — a day ago
This was really something special. An infusion of raspberry and dark berries with saddle, farmyard (beautifully fresh) and tilled soil/under bush. Till there the wine was 95. After about 30’ of air it became so elegant, a Thiene and fragile black tea with a spice touch and heaps of red bright fruit. Incredible. — a day ago
I mean, come on. It would deserve 98/100. So the score really does not matter here, at all. It was a beautifully interior experience for whom not often come across such old wines in sharp conditions. Immensely intense and long after taste. So much finesse. Incredibly together and in good shape. — 9 days ago
Alessandro Dalle Carbonare
Monumental. Among the highest expression of Burgundy. Still incredibly young. It has decades in front. — a day ago
