This was a dry, low acid, very floral , feminine wine. A turkey/cranberry sandwich, breaded artichoke, food that wouldn’t over power this delicate feminine wine. — 5 years ago

I feel very American and patriotic drinking this !! This is a Virginia wine! My contribution to the Trumpster’s campaign. Wine is nice. It doesn’t have much of a nose, but it is low in acid, good for the heartburn people , but t is very silky, gentle oak, I pick up blueberry, some cassis, tiny bit of licorice. Maybe people at the table might not like the Trumpster, but I don’t think anyone at the table would not like this wine. Drink American! Yay! — 4 years ago

Centura Churchill
Verticals tasting 2019/2013/10/07/2004. At London Wine Fair. 2004 still had fruit and tannins so beautifully smooth. The 2019 was drinkable now but it would be a shame not to age it a few more years. Very surprised at the longevity. — 6 months ago
