Popped in poured; no formal notes. The 2020 Pithos Rosso is, to my palate, a lovely Sicilian alternative to Beaujolais. Delicious, refreshingly fruity and just a touch wild. Sufficient structure to provide enjoyment for the near term, but I would just as well drink now. I really enjoy these wines.  — 8 days ago

Clear and bright light ruby , thin garnet rim . Fresh and aromatic rose and light red cherry , touch of light dried herbs with an earthy hint . On the palate this has bright red fruits , pure and elegant, fruit driven with red cherry , spiced red plum , and an earthy , menthol hint . Fresh acidity but with a still relatively juicy mouthfeel. Slightly grippy tannins and just noticable alcohol . Good length and overall balance . Drink now and over the next 5 years or so . — 6 days ago

2020 Pietra marina - Etna Bianca superiore. Golden straw coloration. From Mila, birthplace of carricante, why it’s superiore. On the nose, citrus, herbaceous, salinity and minerality. On the palate, rich mouthfeel, citrus, herbs, salinity from the sea, and a finish of herbs (tarragon?) and minerals. Interesting- combo of Chablis and Chardonnay. 10年の熟成を経ているが、溌剌としたところに、落ち着いた要素も見せつつ、タバコっぽい要素もある。
非常に上品で滑らかで華やか。果実によりがちがモンタルチーノにあって、クリスプな酸と旨味、華やかさにフォーカスされた見事なロッソディモンタルチーノ。
