This is a nice little snack. The wine pours a very pale ruby color. Cherries and rose petals on the nose. Zippy flavors of sour cherries and tart raspberries. Medium tannins, and a fairly good exit. If I had to complain, I would say there's an unduly amount of alcohol burn that gets on top of the fruit. But it's really hitting the spot.

Well my night just got better. Still have half a bottle from last fall. Fingers crossed I'll get my hands on one this year. This is the most bourbony rye I think I've ever had. It's all there- cherry leather, caramel, cigar box, corn bread. It's so much like Pappy 15 but a little hint of rye 😊

Thinner than water with a very bright red color. It smells like a white wine. Citrus. It smells like lemon... lemon Pledge or citronella.
It doesn't taste very good either. Bubble gum, a little cranberry.

A new arrival at my corner store. This is ok. Decent structure and nice fruit. I would put this out for guests with roasted chicken and garden veggies. Pleasant.

Last year's bottle was superb- one of my top 5 whiskeys of all time. This year is a bit of a disappointment. A little cleaner, a little more astringent. It's really good juice, but not worth what I paid for it. Should be $60.

Delectable, this is Chateau Saint-Roch's Kerbuccio grenache blend. Nice wine that's full bodied and heavy. Good for this evening's cool temps. Plum, blueberry, tobacco, spice. Soft and short finish, but very enjoyable. I had the cheaper counterpart the other night, and this one scores a point higher. Also 65% Grenache 35% Syrah.

My goodness, this is very delicious. 65% Grenache and 35% Syrah. Each grape pulls its weight in this blend, to great effect. Dark, brooding fruit with smoke and heat, but soft in the mouth. A short finish, maybe a little flabby, but it just tastes so good. I'm enjoying it with a hedonistic little charcuterie for one, and Ken Burns' country music documentary. — 11 days ago
