Very smoky and oaky. Almost too much for me. Lots of tannins that really linger. Kind of disappointed, I really enjoy a good Cab Franc but it’s lacking something. Not much fruit, light bodied and tastes watered down. Some may enjoy this but I like more fruit, less oak and full bodied. Nothing wrong with the wine, just not my taste. — 12 days ago

Never had this grape before. It definitely has plum on the nose. Very fruit forward at first then a little more tannic and oaky after a short decant (because I couldn’t wait) but still very fruity! Very smooth going down. Can’t wait to pair with dinner. — 17 days ago
