Label has some style. And catches the eye. Bit of an aged version of CA Zin, but that can work. Deeper rusty, maroon color than some Paso Robles Zin I’ve had. Smells a bit more herbal and dank than fruity and jammy. Flavors are big, bodacious and brawny. Hints of the blending other reds in the mix. Chewy. Hint of that grape jelly in a campfire flavor of some Zins in the finish. This should pair well with a steak and grilled veggies. It’s a nice, well produced classic. Kinda like the biker on the bottle. — 14 days ago
Boring label, but it’s fine. Fruit jams. Violets. Easy and ripe with plenty of light easy to enjoy style. It gets better as it goes. Delicious and lovely. Balanced and well made. — 21 days ago
5 years on for this southern Frenchie. GSM. Dark color. Looks like black cherry skins. Smells floral with hints of spice box. The spices of autumn. Violets and bearded Iris are the flowers. Hint of dark plum candy (not candied, but a hard candy). Flavors are dusted truffles and cherry Black Forest cake. Dry and just a touch bittersweet. Makes the grade for southern French red. Has a sun-baked background and some deep, dense flavors that can hold up a bit long than the five years it’s been around I’m sure. Label says clay, limestone soils. They come through. This is a nice drinking wine from the massive Gérard Bertrand portfolio. — 2 days ago
Looks like a nice Columbia Valley Cab. Dark color. Heady and dense nose. Maybe a herbal and earthy streak in with the plum sauce on the nose. Flavors are chewy and vicious. Horehound meets berry cobbler and a bit of flint. Plenty bittersweet like a good Cab should be. Has a big style, but holds a bit of elegance as well. Will be great with the grilled steak I’m going to have with it later. A nice find at the grocery outlet 20% off wine sale. — 20 days ago
Basic style label. Lighter color. Smells like fruit punch. Plenty of vanilla. Flavors are definitely ripe and new style. Cooked fruits and vanilla. Way too new world to be my style. — 22 days ago
This is Bell Road Vineyard Petite Sirah. Big heavy bottle. Dark color of boars blood. Smells like rotting maple leaves, maple sugar and black berry sauce. Tastes like licorice, molasses of pomegranates or mulberries, and smoked stuff (peppers or meats). This is high quality Petite S. Lively and lovely. — 4 days ago
This is Pinot Noir. Simple label. Color is glossy red. Hint of cranberry color. Smells good with hints of fresh herbs and cherry. Flavors are juicy yet subtle. Has elegance and character. A nice OR Pinot. — 13 days ago
Fancy style on the label. Olive. Exactly like nice olives and luscious cooked black and purple fruits cooked in savory styles. Flavors are spiced and hold a lovely elegance. Savory. Strange. Delicious. This is the mystery of Syrah in a bottle. — 21 days ago
Decent style on the label. Little more modern than some Italian stuff. Dark color of blood. Very spicy and woodsy aroma. Few hot rocks as well. Flavors are fruit driven, but balanced and likable. Balanced and complex. Bright cherry and some blackberry too. A classic Italian hot climate wine. — a month ago

Cool, tall bottle with a classy label. Pretty mountain artwork on a black background. Wine is red, red wine colored. Not too dark. Kinda classic Cab color. Smells good. Bit of musk and plenty of wet rocks. Also berry stuff. Flavors are elegant and bright. Has plenty of fruit (black cherry, rhubarb and black berries). A little baked pastry and a hint of bar b que too. This is a nice big wine with some classic Cab Sauv style. — 2 days ago
