Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah blend. Rhone Rangers ride again. Color is blood, sweat and tears. Aroma of wood oils, berry jelly and warm fresh tilled soil. Flavors are balanced, juicy, crisp and warm. Hint bittersweet on the finish. This is a great central coast of Cali blend. Leans toward the gentle elegance of Grenache, but is complex and cool as polished steel. A great red that’s different yet feels right at home in Rhône.. — 7 days ago
Good color in the glass. Almost seems to have a greenish tint. Aroma is grasses and squeezed lemons. Flavors are nice. Balanced and brisk. Hints of citrus. Lots of lemon bar. Some grapefruit pith. Bittersweet finish. This is nice Euro styled white wine. Reminds me of good Verdejo or Chablis. Even has a hint of complexity. — 19 days ago
Label is pretty cool. It’s screw-top too. Color of rubies with a rust-red edge. Smells like plums, cherries and damp moss. Maybe a hint of fruitcakes. Flavors are ripe ready and classy. Hint of earth with the cherry sauces. Bit thin. Very supple. Finish is forest in the rain and damp, clean spring gardens. This is an easy and pleasing Pinot from the wilds of Oregon. Great deal. — 4 days ago
Oldie. Still looks pretty dark and stormy. Smells good, earthy with a hint of berries. Flavors are nice. Slight plum sauce. With hoisin sauce too. Plenty dry and easy. Complex even all these years later. Unique. Robust, but not fruit bombed. — 8 days ago
Simple not very eye catching label. Color is lovely. Bit darker. Aroma is great! Wood, berry chutney and wet rocks. Flavors are great too. Balanced. Juicy and complex. Fresh. This is on point. Something I’d enjoy more than periodically. Maybe even regularly. — 21 days ago
Label is ok. Arty grapes. Simple color scheme. Color is deep and dark. Aroma has a ham, jam and molasses blend. Maybe a bit of leather. Both cherry-plum fruit leather and leather belt. Flavors are straight forward and fairly fruit driven, but it’s got a little earth and wet rocks. Can taste some Merlot. Balance is decent. Plenty of acid too. Just a bit too ripe. — a month ago
The fancy version of their Cab Sauv. It was $8 at Gross Out. As compared to $55 at the winery. Dark maroon color. Ain’t no seeing through this baby. Nose has a hint of horse and tobacco under the very berry cobbler front. Plenty of barrel smelling through. Flavors are hearty, heavy and bombastic. Cedar shake on the grill, vanilla bourbon crème brûlée. Berry sauce. Blackberry and cherry pie filling. This might benefit from aging. Soften and lose the extra oak toffee side. It’s a 15.2% ABV wine. Big Boy. Bomba de Fruta. Etc. It’s not overwhelming, but close. I’d choose the regular Cab from Bally Keal for now and try this one in 7-10 years. Maybe it’ll mellow with time and age. — 7 days ago
Screw-top. Nice boring label. Darker color. Plum sauce. Smells like plums and leather. Purple-red plums. A hint of licorice root tea too. Flavors are earthy and tongue drying. Hint of sauces and jams. Minty? Mint jam mixed with plum sauce? That sounds about right. Not a strange and funky Syrah, but a well structured and not fruit-bombed hot clime one. This has plenty of interesting sides. And the familiar ones work too. — 12 days ago
Copper color. Almost orange. Flavors are nice. Dry with plenty of action. Hints of citrus and berries. Streak of fresh cut herbs. — 22 days ago

Lovely art on the label. Good color. Pretty wine. Smells like smoke and berry sauce. Hint of mint and other fresh herbs. Flavors are tart and grippy. Juicy. Tasty. Complexity is fine. — 2 days ago
