Exactly!@ESF it’s….neat, as you said it. Which can cut both ways, especially if you want something more wild from northern syrah.

Showed a muddled ruby, some bricking, very mature nose of red fruits, garrigue, leather, earth , hoisin, mushroom, & grandma's attic. this showed its age & then some - med bodied on palate, decent cut, like a fine old tweed suit but on the decline and probably wasn't particularly fashionable in its heyday. — 8 days ago

so delicious - inky and wide open right out of the chute with all kinds of brooding dark fruit, spice, smoke & minerals - just so generous on nose & palate. Grippy, bit fleshy, mouth coating richness, balanced, harmonious - smooth lingering finish — 3 days ago
