Delicious white wine that’s perfect on a warm spring evening. Albariño is a newly discovered favorite - I sense I’ll be drinking this all summer! Crisp and zesty. — 6 years ago
Few things compare to the Opus One flagship wine, but this more accessible version certainly doesn’t disappoint. It’s velvety and decadent with a well-rounded nose. Overture is a NV but this one comes from the 2012-2014 vintages - all stellar years for the Napa Valley. — 7 years ago
So pleasant drinking this on a fall afternoon with friends! A little fuller-bodied than I anticipated but it otherwise had classic Beaujolais characteristics of juicy, overripe fruit. So glad I’ve gotten more into Gamay!! — 5 years ago
I’m obsessed with Washington Cabs and will never not be obsessed with Washington Cabs. This is yet another stunner - picked it out for my fiancé’s birthday dinner and we loved it! — 5 years ago
Enjoyable and very smooth, but nothing really stands out for me on the flavor/complexity side. At almost $30/bottle I wouldn’t reach for this as an everyday drinking wine, nor is it something I’d want to have with a special dinner. All in all, I’d say it’s definitely good but not great. — 6 years ago
So enjoyable and at a great price point! My favorite with crispy chicken - the bright acidity absorbs the fatty deliciousness and it’s 👌 — 5 years ago
Finally found my groove with Gamay! This is delightful - light to medium body with bright acidity. I haven’t tried this wine with every food imaginable but my guess is that if I did, it would pair well with all of it. — 5 years ago
Delicious! Substantially elevated my underwhelming leg of lamb. This Syrah isn’t as gamey as you typically see — more fruit-forward almost like a Cabernet. And (as I always love pointing out) it’s exceptional value for the price. I loved it! — 6 years ago
Exceptional value. At roughly 1/4 of the price of its better-known neighbor in the Santa Cruz Mountains, this wine feels like an absolute steal. The nose is to die for and it’s nice and round in the mouth. Has weight to it but not as full-bodied as typical Bordeaux-style blends. If I had better storage conditions in my apartment, I would buy this in bulk! — 7 years ago

This wine really punches above its weight. Full bodied and decadent, it goes perfectly with Filet Mignon for an anniversary dinner. Always a believer in good value, I was shocked at how reasonable the price is. I’d expect similar quality from the Napa Valley to cost 2x. Will definitely look for this again!! — 4 years ago
