My birth year and not a bad year for Port. Lots of chocolate covered cherries, silky and smooth. — 10 years ago

Slightly musty on the nose with hints of mushrooms and blue cheese. Opened up 10 minutes after I pulled the cork. Full bodied, medium tannins, dark berries. — 10 years ago

This is the 2000. It drinks very well, still has aging potential. On the nose hints of cola, baking spices and ripe pomegranate. The spice comes through in the palate, tannins are sweet and balanced. — 10 years ago
