Rich and fruity, not the usual earthy cab franc. Gorgeous dark color with layers of deep red fruit, violets, and juicy cherries. — 6 years ago
Crisp, dry, with bright acid. Delicious with shrimp with lemon and garlic sauce and risotto. — 7 years ago

Soft, but not too soft. Full of flavor. Red, juicy cherries with a bit of tobacco on the back end. Great for sipping, with cheese, simple pasta dishes. — 6 years ago
Excellent appertivo with a slice of orange over ice. Spritzed the rim with orange peel oil too and that really brought out the deeper citrus notes. — 7 years ago
The 2016 is a blend of Sangiovese (80%) and Merlot (20%). Nice hint of red fruit, cherries softened with violet and some rose. It's great with red sauce pizza on a cold Tuscan afternoon. — 7 years ago
Bright strawberry deepening to jammy berry with a finish off leather and tobacco. It's a nice drinking wine and tasty with smoky meats. — 6 years ago
Delicious mid- week slurp. Bright red cherry and red raspberry with a nice earthy, leathery finish and a hint of lavender. — 7 years ago
Great with polenta and game ragu. Not so good with salumi. It's bright, floral, light on the tongue but not so light that it can't handle some rabbit ragu. Good weeknight drinking wine. — 7 years ago
