Lovely Friulano from Friuli! I've seen this grape compared to Sauv Blanc, but this was more elegant and less tangy. While there was still some hint of citrus (mostly lemon zest), this was overshadowed by pear, honey, grass and stone notes. Quite savory! 100% Friulano. 5/5/23. — 2 years ago
Wonderful! The grape Pinotage is a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsault, so naturally I figured that a red blend with Pinotage and Cinsault would be a harmonious one. I was not wrong. Great fruit and nicely balanced. 80% Pinotage, 20% Cinsault. 4/12/23. — 2 years ago
I always seem to keep coming back to this one. Very fruit-driven, with generous spice notes. A wonderful value! 100% Pinot Meunier. 1/19/25. — a month ago
A really cool blend of three hybrid grapes rarely bottled individually, let alone in a cuvée with each other. There was an initial funk upon opening that faded after being open a couple of days. Once it opened up, notes of tart plum, sour cherry, and just a hint of spice came out. Blend of Baco Noir, Noiret, and Chambourcin. 5/23/23. — 2 years ago
Hands down the best Zweigelt (aka Rotburger) I've had, and probably the best single-varietal red from Austria as well. Silky texture with notes of plum, spice, and a bit of cocoa powder. Will definitely seek this one out again! 100% Zweigelt. 5/30/23. — 2 years ago
Gorgeous color. Looks like a light red but definitely drinks like a rosé. Crunchy red fruit flavors of cherry, strawberry, and pomegranate. A fun, crushable rosé with a great blend of grapes from Chile. 90% Cariñena, 10% Monastrell. 4/2/23. — 2 years ago
Flora is a hybrid grape, a crossing of Sémillon and Gewürztraminer. This wine definitely had the spice of the latter and the waxiness of the former. There was also a tang to it that reminded me of both citrus and yeast. 100% Flora. 6/20/23. — 2 years ago
Piquant and fresh, this wine tasted exactly like the label looked: bright and tropical. It reminded me a bit of a good Sauv Blanc, but with just a but more tang. Loads of grapefruit on the nose and palate! My first outing with this grape. 100% Scheurebe. 5/9/23. — 2 years ago
I had the 2015 vintage of this wine a number of years ago and didn't care much for it. I decided to give it another chance after running across it again, albeit the 2020 vintage. Fantastic. Aromas of violets, red fruit, and spice. On the palate, cherries, strawberries, and a bit of menthol. 100% Gamay. 6/6/23. — 2 years ago

This was a very different wine compared to the last time I had it. The color was very light and very hazy, similar to Hi-C fruit punch. There was some faint strawberry and raspberry on the palate but it seemed like the earth and mineral notes were a bit more prominent. There was still a refreshing quality to this wine, but I was still rather disappointed. 100% Moscatel Tinto. 1/26/25. — a month ago
