Tasted on board Qatar Airways travelling from Doha to Kigali. Always liked Torrontes from the first time I tried it in the WSET Classes. A tropical fruit character with notes of guava. Lush and mouthfilling with stacks of flavour. Low acid- drink now. — 6 years ago
@Bob McDonald Yup. We go spend a few days in Dubai and onto Cape Town to do the Western Cape wine region. Then, a 10-12 Safari. Just wondered if you’ve flown both and had a comparison opinion. Heard both have great service. Thought about checking out Doha as well.
@David T I have flown Emirates a few times but this was my first time with Qatar. I like the cabin layout of Qatar in Business Class better. Emirates seems a little cramped. I did the Western Cape wineries about 5 years ago. A great experience at Ernie Els and Verglegen. Also Rustenberg and Rust en Verde. A long drive to de Trafford but worth it for the quality of the wine. Cheers.
