Most memorable taste this trip to Italy...
Nebbiolo from the Valtellina DOCG, lighter than its Barolo/Barbaresco brethren. Valtellina means of the valley, an alpine valley in Lombardy. 2001 at 30€ at Agriturismo Il Ronco, tasted with moist bresaola, both made just kilometers away near Lecco on Lake Como. What grows together goes together sure brought out whatever dried rose petal action was in that beef! 😍😍😍 — 10 years ago
