Amador County Touriga Tempranillo 2016

This is a full bodied red with nicely balanced acidity, possibly the best I have tasted of such a blend. It is smooth but not too thick,!with black currant and blueberry fruits up front, with a healthy dose of plum to the finish. There is a splash of palate cleansing bite at the very end of the finish 😻 — 6 years ago

Amador County Touriga Nacional 2016

Another stellar release from Ms. Draper, this is the wine which is also available in a blend with her also superlative Tempranillo. It is a big red but not too chewy, good with spicy Argentine steak. The flavors are primarily red currant and plum, with a mineral body and a bit of chocolate to the finish. This wine is vibrant and refreshing, and new layers are revealed with further sips. — 6 years ago

Smoky tobacco, big fruit, light tannins. Best on day two. A fun wine! — 4 years ago

Pine Mountain Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

This is a truly full-bodied Cab, with perhaps a splash of Petit Verdot thrown in for the inky color. It is perfectly balanced and silky on the tongue. Prominent fruits are black currants , black cherries, and cranberry, but it does not have a bitter or acid ic tone, nor is it sweet. We enjoyed it with Argentine chimichurri flank steak, roasted potatoes, and steamed asparagus. — 6 years ago
