Great Western Pinot Meunier 1994

From vines planted in the late 1860s - the oldest of this variety in Australia. Lighter in style but with amazing length. Notes of an old chest of drawers together with Lavender, Soot, Tar, Earth and woody notes. Very balanced becoming sweeter with air. A thorough pleasure. Old Vine Pinot Meunière- a delightful anachronism. — 9 years ago
