After a few hours decant, very nice—full bodied without too much tannin; deep dark fruit, bit of smoke, but not too hot despite 14.5% alcohol—glad I have 4-5 more in the cellar — 3 years ago

At the price I consider this to be a good bye. Again not a fine wine but a very strong performing house wine. A little on the peppery side and somewhat thinner than California wines that many people are used to. Other than that a pleasant nose and a pleasant finish. No major complaints. — 6 years ago
