Rosso di Montalcino Sangiovese 2013

Thick, inky,strong and slightly oxidized cherry on the nose. Med p body, high acid, med p tannin, juicy, concentrated, high acid red fresh apple on the first palate folllowed by long finish of fresh strawberries, licorice, and bitter tabacco notes. Food wine. Need pinci with wild cinguialte ragu or salumi cinguiale. Drunk with salumi cinguiale and white bread with extra virgin olive oil. — 9 years ago
