A great find by my dealer. One of the best bottles I’ve ever had. — 2 months ago

Mmmmmm. Yum.
Bringing the mushroom pizza.
Mushrooms are Merlot’s best friend. — 5 days ago
Revelatory Montepulciano with Italian essence but Bordeaux character. Medium bodied with earthy fruit and restrained tannins, combined with notes of leather and cedar box and a hint of soy sauce. Mouthwatering food wine; the 2013 vintage is definitely ready to enjoy now. First glass was at Mother Wolf in LA (date night with Dreama) and most recently a bottle at home with my own beef stroganoff on a Sunday night. What a way to top off the weekend! — 2 months ago
Rick dark cherry and red currant with a juicy body and gentle dry finish. — 19 days ago
Austere was the first word that came to mind and then I saw it in @Tom Casagrande’s review as well (though of the previous vintage). Overall I still enjoyed it, but you have to be in the mood for a crisp, somewhat bitter, reclusive wine. — a month ago
Dark straw gold color. Aromas and flavors of red and green apples, pears, white flowers, raw nuts, lemon curd and wet slate. Long lasting, slightly salty, and mineral laden finish. Viscous/creamy texture and very fruit forward. Medium body and medium-plus fresh acidity. Just a bit flabby. — 3 months ago

Opened an unknown amount of time before being poured into a red Solo cup. No formal notes; obviously. The 2021 is varietally correct and leans heavily into the violets and pyrazines. There good structure and a solid finish. A wine of good character. Drink now through 2036. — 15 days ago
