I'd drink this everyday! Stony, fruity, dark leather, mild oakiness. Love it. — 10 years ago
Barbera from Monderrato area, 2007, 15.5%. Aged in oak for about 40 months, not filtered. Not the usual Barbera: very beautiful color, and extremely rich nose, red fruits, balsamic and a bit mineral too. Full bodies meditation wine. 88/100 — 11 years ago
Spicy, medium tannins, raisins. Went really well with my pappardelle with pecorino and beef/tripe ragu. Cin Cin! — 9 years ago
Occhio di Pernice DOC is a Vinsanto produced in a rosé style utilizing both red and white varietals. Normally one would use Sangiovese to achieve this, but in this case the varietals used are Trebbiano and San Colombano, or Colombana nera. Simply amazing. — 10 years ago
