Ripe peach and pear meet fresh citrus and melon fruits, sprinkled with lightly roasted almond and mint. Crisp and refreshing on the palate with lots of flavor nuances. The medium body is finely textured. Would have been better if not for the slight heat on the mineral driven long finish.
A lovely chard worthy of the 40th Anniversary badge nevertheless. — 3 years ago
Lots of floral notes, and a little bigger body than I'd expect for PG. Tasty! — 4 years ago
One of the best Blanco Tequilas out there. No additives nor made with a diffuser unlike your celebrity Tequilas that are so abundant nowadays. If you like tequila that doesn’t taste like tequila stick to syrup in a bottle known as Clase Azul which is the Caymus & Austin Hope of Tequila.👎🏼
Felipe is a master at making real Tequila
Sonoma-based August Sebastiani’s 3 Badge Beverage Corp. (the new name behind Kirk & Sweeney rums, Uncle Val’s gins, and others) has launched its first tequila: Pasote, which is made by Felipe Camerena in the Los Altos region of Jalisco.
Made in part with rainwater instead of just spring water, it’s made using traditional methods and bottled in antique-style glass. The reposado and anejo are aged in former, American oak bourbon barrels. — 10 months ago
Not a usual Cali drinker so am surprised by the depth and drinkability from a petit syrah. — 4 years ago
Someone beat me to taste this from the bottle. Had 2021 from barrel and predicted it would be a stellar vintage. Well this estate wine is delicious. Cherries galore, lime, plenty of acidity but not over the top. Well balanced. Very burgundian. Yet it retains this slope of the black forest terroir. Strikes me as a drink now wine. Arrived today at 11am. Lyle will kill me for not allowing the wine to rest. I might try the big boys in the next couple of weeks. Can’t wait. Great wines in my book can withstand the shipping journey with ease. It’s a badge of honor. 11.5%. With air 9.4. — a year ago
