Damn, that’s good!
i’ve rated this wine before – this exact vintage – and I gave it lower ratings. I don’t know if this wine is just improving with age or my taste buds are changing, but this is among the top Pinots I’ve ever had. I’m giving it a 9.6 this time around. This is the best that Willamette has to offer. And it’s better than 99% of the other Pinots I’ve tasted. If you like tight pucker-arsed Pinots this is NOT for you. Absolutely luscious! — 11 days ago
Tons of red and dark fruit. Mainly cherries and a bit of raspberry and spice. — 20 days ago
Love me some Kutch! Great acid, lemon curd. — 7 days ago
Based on day 2. I really enjoyed this as it opened up. Great texture with lemon curd, stone fruit, marzipan and lively acidity. So well balanced. — 20 days ago

Presented double-blind. The wine appears a straw color; medium viscosity with no signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of orchard fruit: apples, lemon curd, nuts and lees. Lavishly oaked. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and lovely. I called Chardonnay from the United States, California, Napa Valley 2019. So close! Drink now through 2029. — 4 days ago
