Magnum. Single vineyard from the Bussia Cru of Monforte d’Alba.
This is so much different than the Brandini single vineyard from La Morra. Much more powerful with still firm tannic structure. Shows more dark fruits, with fig jam, leather, cedar and licorice.

Outstanding meal with Scott at La Buchette in Quebec City. This was excellent - I find these Batasiolo barolos accessible, with a distinct leather note. Matched with a bison tomahawk. — 6 months ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Deep Ruby color with a bouquet of fruit, herbs and floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with notes of herb pepper, floral and earthy notes. Medium+ finish, ok balance with fine tannins ending with earthy nutty notes. — 4 days ago
