Spanish wine with steak? YES! Big dark fruit, soft, jammy, super smooth and tasty — a month ago
One of the faves for Shiraz. Big, bold, yet easy to drink. Punchy with black and red fruits, not to tannic. — 2 months ago
Garagiste mystery. Really happy about this one. Rhys, pax, Arnot roberts, and Jolie laide style. Olives, dark fruits, stewed tomato, rosemary. So freaking perfect with steak. Brightness of fruit and acidity seemed to improve with a few hours of air. Maybe blew off some reduction or funk? Love it. — 9 days ago
Incredible. Robert Parker style big style. — a month ago
Cherry, raspberry, currant, pomegranate, blackberry and oak. Light-bodied and soft tannins. — 5 days ago
Big lush, dark fruit that has not reached its peak window yet. But she ain’t far away. I was able to obtain a vertical of 01,02,03,& 04. My first foray into that vertical. No rush on this one but very impressed. Leather, pepper, if not cigar leaf here . Suffice it to say, there is a lot going on here and my lack of Cali knowledge has new intrigue — 8 days ago
Drinking a 3L from 2013 in late ‘24. Love the big format bottles and aging potential. This could go a lot longer I think but is also fine to drink now.
Standard Caymus flavors and aromas that made the brand known. Dark inky crimson color. Blueberries and blackberry fruit mixed with vanilla alongside the tell-tale signs of wet band-aid. Great tannins, medium-to-big acidity, good long finish. Really nice. — 2 months ago
"Odedi"
Reddish in color with a cloudy rim.
On the nose fresh red fruits with light oak and chocolates.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and fat legs.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, cherries, red plums, currants, light wood, spices, earth, light vegetables, coffee, bitter herbs and black pepper.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a tasty Pinot Noir from Oregon. Feels like an old world Pinot Noir.
Still very young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Showing good potential at this point.
This Single Vineyard Pinot Noir is good right out of the bottle, and better after some air time.
12.9% alcohol by volume.
89 points.
